LEC is Logan City's premier entertainment venue, hosting a variety of events ranging from theatre shows and concerts to exhibitions, school productions and awards dinners.
The venue's services and facilities include an experienced events team and production specialists, full bar, and kiosk, audio-visual and lighting equipment, computerised on-site ticketing system and free off-street parking as well as disabled access.
Flexibility is the key and the LEC can cater for every need, from small and intimate cocktail parties to sit-down three-course award ceremonies and full-scale festivals and pop star performances.
Since it was officially opened by former Queensland Premier Peter Beattie on 26 July 2002, the Logan landmark has gone from strength to strength and provided boundless fun for the residents of Logan and beyond.
Over the years, the LEC has welcomed an array of entertainment, from well-known singing sensations and comedians to musicals and muscle cars.
The LEC has also been the venue of choice for a variety of local and state-wide awards ceremonies, exhibitions and events.
The city’s star studded attraction also saw the addition of the ever-popular pre-show eatery, Limelight Bistro and Bar, which opened in October 2010.
The birthday celebrations also saw the introduction of a new theatre membership pack to allow dedicated patrons the opportunity to have exclusive access to tickets and news - with members saving between five and 15 per cent on ticket prices as well as other great benefits such as preferential seating and automatic competition entry.
