LEC COVID-19 Update

Current Restrictions

Current at 10 August 2021
Our venues are following the latest Queensland Government COVID-19 directives.

Masks must be worn at all times except when eating or drinking. This includes while in your allocated seat and in all common areas of the venues.

Capacity limits apply in our venues. Any changes to your allocated seat will be communicated to you by our Box Office team before you attend a performance.

Logan Entertainment Centre remains open for the facilitation of the Vaccination Clinic (details below) only. The Box Office is closed to in-person sales and service until 2022.

We are working under the COVID Safe Checklist: Restricted Businesses.

All visitors must comply with relevant Queensland Health directions.

LEC Box Office Closed and Venue Update

The LEC Box Office will be closed for all in-person bookings until January 2022.  This is due to Metro South Health establishing a community vaccination centre at the LEC from Tuesday 6th July 2021. Click here for more information.

We have managed to relocate impacted performances to our other managed venues in Logan however some have unfortunately had to be cancelled or rescheduled to support the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Update On Upcoming Shows and Events

Some shows have been moved to other suitable local venues or postponed. Please see below for the most recent information.

The following performances have been rescheduled and will take place at LEC on the following dates:

– Ross Noble: 2021 Comeback Special
  • New date to be confirmed.
  • Refunds are available by contacting the box office.
– Dreams: Fleetwood Mac & Stevie Nicks Tribute Show
  • Rescheduled to Saturday 19 March 2022.
  • Current tickets will remain valid for the new performance. If you are unable to attend the new date, please contact the box office for a full refund.
– The World of Musicals 
  • Rescheduled to 29 April 2022.
– 50th Anniversary Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody Greatest Hits
  • Rescheduled to Friday 27 May 2022.
  • Current tickets will remain valid for the new performance. If you are unable to attend the new date, please contact the box office for a full refund.

Remember to check in when visiting our performance venues using the Check In Qld app to help keep you COVID safe the next time you visit.

All you need to do is:

  • download the Check In Qld app
  • enter your details once
  • open the app when you next visit us
  • select Check in Now and hover your smartphone over our QR code.

Using this digital check-in means your details are stored securely by the Queensland Government for fast COVID-19 contact tracing if needed.

Community Vaccination Centre Information

A community-based COVID-19 Vaccination Centre is now located at Logan Entertainment Centre. As of Sunday 5th September 2021, the clinic will operate 7 days a week from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm.  Bookings are essential from Tuesday to Saturday with walk-ins accepted on Sundays and Mondays.

Who can access the vaccine?
To find out if you are eligible, visit the Queensland Health website.

Are walk-ins accepted?
Yes, on Sundays and Mondays ONLY for Logan residents. Please register via the link below COVID-19 vaccinations are by appointment only from Tuesday to Saturday and second doses will take priority.

How do I book my vaccine?
To make an appointment, phone 134 COVID (13 42 68) or go to www.vaccinebookings.health.qld.gov.au

What to bring to your appointment:

  • Booking confirmation
  • Identification (Drivers licence)
  • ​Medicare card (if possible)
  • A mask must be worn (during current restrictions)

Is parking available?

There will be onsite parking available in the LEC carpark closest to Wembley Road.  There will be traffic management in place to ensure safe traffic flow within the immediate surroundings.
