Queensland Ballet Dance Camp
With new and old friends alike, children aged between 5 – 17 years enrolled in a Queensland Ballet Dance Camp will perfect their technique and practice their pirouettes under the careful guidance of Queensland Ballet’s Teaching Artists. Created to enrich lives, help raise awareness about ballet, reinforce the diverse technical and expressive skills in our communities and uncover the magic of ballet in a fun and engaging way. Participants will get creative with sets and costumes, learn current Queensland Ballet repertoire and develop choreography to share and explore with others.
Students will receive a Queensland Ballet t-shirt as part of their workshop fee as well as a ticket to Tutus on Tour at the LEC on Saturday 11 July.
An informal showing will conclude the camp and parents/carers are invited to attend, and celebrate the achievements of all.
For those students who love to dance, are looking for a creative outlet to learn more about the magic of the ballet and need a fun physical activity, Queensland Ballet’s Dance Camps are guaranteed to make art a part of daily life.
